Interview exclusive de Pierre Amiet

Certains de ces articles ont fait l'objet d'une publication dans la Revue Biblique : tarragon@netvision.net.il et notamment : "Anthropomorphisme et aniconisme dans l'antiquité orientale"  in Revue Biblique - N°3, 1997, p.321 et s.

Ce qui nous parait le plus intéressant, c'est qu'avec le recul du temps, Pierre Amiet a rédigé une postface inédite pour son article la naissance de l'écriture: "la naissance de l'écriture ou la vraie révolution" in Revue Biblique -N°4, 1990, p.525 et s., qu'il nous a confiée et qui apporte un éclairage nouveau sur sa recherche.

Dans son article sur "La naissance des Dieux. Approche iconographique" in Revue Biblique - N°4, 1995, p.481 et s., Pierre Amiet a enrichi son article d'illustrations qui n'existaient pas dans la publication originale.

Nous publions également un article rédigé pour Agnès Spycket : ALLIANCE DES HOMMES, ALLIANCE DES DIEUX DANS L'ICONOGRAPHIE ORIENTALE.

In this heading dedicated to the history of the origin of writing, we propose to publish a series of articles written by Pierre Amiet, Inspecteur General Fees of the Museums of France, former conservator as a chief of the departments of Eastern Antiquities of the Museum of the Louvre, who was kind enough to entrust us his articles in order to publish them on Internet. Some were the subject of a publication in the Biblical Review: tarragon@netvision.net.il

and in particular: " Anthropomorphism and aniconism in Eastern antiquity " in Biblical Review - N°3, 1997, p.321 and s.What appears to us most interesting, it is that with the passing of time, Pierre Amiet wrote a new postface for his article the birth of the writing: " birth of the writing or the true revolution " in Biblical Review - N°4, 1990, p.525 and etc.., that he entrusted to us and who brings a new light on his research.

In his article on " the birth of the Gods. Iconographic approach " in Biblical Review - N°4, 1995, p.481 and s., Pierre Amiet enriched his article by illustrations which did not exist in the original publication.
